Better Dogs Resource Pack has been out less than a month. Despite its short lifespan, it has over 18,000 downloads and amazing community appreciation. We expect this number to climb rapidly as more players understand how special this texture pack is. Most Minecraft resource packs modify game blocks and items, but the Better Dogs Resource Pack goes further. This pack adds numerous colored dog breeds and alters the game’s wolf textures. This resource pack is not a mod. This makes it easy to install like any other Minecraft resource pack. This addon lets you get a specific Minecraft dog.
The steps are easy. First, tame the wolf. This wolf becomes a random dog after domestication. Some domesticated wolves remain wolves. You may name and modify the breed of your dog using name tags. This requires that the name tag contain one of the words on the “list of supported name tags” below. Better Dog resource pack is 16×16, so performance won’t drop. This resource pack works on almost any device but requires optifine regardless of hardware. If prompted to load the pack for a newer or older version of Minecraft, click yes and it will load appropriately. Custom entity models and random entities in Minecraft settings will ensure this resource pack works properly.
Better Dogs should work with following Minecraft versions: 1.20.6 – 1.20.5 – 1.20.4 – 1.20.3 – 1.20.2 – 1.20.1 – 1.20 – 1.19.4 – 1.19.3 – 1.19.2 – 1.19.1 – 1.19 – 1.18.2 – 1.18.1 – 1.18 – 1.17.1 – 1.17 – 1.16.5 – 1.16.4 – 1.16.3 – 1.16.2 – 1.16.1 – 1.16 – 1.15.2 – 1.15.1 – 1.15 – 1.14.4 – 1.14.3 – 1.14.2 – 1.14 – 1.13.2 – 1.13.1 – 1.13 – 1.12.2 – 1.12 – 1.11.2 – 1.11 – 1.10.2 – 1.10 – 1.9.4 – 1.9 – 1.8.9 – 1.8.8 – 1.8.1 – 1.8.6 – 1.8
