Usually, people think of a parfait as a delicious dessert that contains layers of ice cream and fruit served in a cup or glass. However, Perfect resource pack Minecraft is not about food at all. The Parfait resource pack is about the English translation of the French word parfait, which means perfect. Minecraft uses the term perfect to refer to a perfect world where the Minecraft world looks more like the real world, but better. The Parfait texture pack may not be considered a perfect pack without any flaws, but that depends on how the user looks at it. The Parfait resource pack is a 64x resolution pack that makes Minecraft look more realistic but still see the world in blocks. Adding the Parfait resource pack will make the Minecraft world look more like the real world. For example: the grass really looks like real grass rather than grass with dirt blocks and if you add shader packs you will see shadows on the grass as well.

Water and lava also look more real. Water actually looks like it has ripples and waves in oceans and rivers. The Parfait resource pack is not complete yet, but Nibblets, the author of the pack, continues to release updates for the Parfait texture pack. An incomplete pack can be good or bad depending on whether you're looking for a complete resource pack or not. The pro of the incomplete resource pack is that it releases new content at a steady pace to look forward to. The incomplete package is only in some aspects of Minecraft that feel more realistic, while the rest of the world still looks like vanilla cubes. This resource pack is good for people who want to try the Parfait resource pack and don't mind having the default blocks combined with more realistic areas of the Minecraft world.

How to install Parfait Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Parfait texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
