Name A realistic OmniJar resource pack it automatically defines the purpose for which it was built. However, its purpose is not only to improve the textures and make them more realistic, but to stay true to the default theme of Minecraft. OmniJar, the developer behind this pack, has done a great job creating new textures that look more realistic, but at the same time don't change the original theme too much. Despite this being a difficult task, OmniJar overcame the obstacles and successfully created this pack, which is now considered one of the best texture packs available today. Note, however, that this pack is still in Alpha; Until it's 100% done, some missing textures will still be detectable and will be slowly added in future updates over time.

Due to changes in textures, the loading time of this pack may be close to 50 seconds in game; This is a key issue where there is room for improvement and optimization to make the load time faster. However, the change in textures is noticeable: They have almost perfect colors that are neither extreme nor too bland, blending perfectly with the vanilla theme. Not only the colors are more realistic, but also the level of detail and sharpness in each texture, given that the resolution of the OmniJar Realistic Resource Pack is x512. For gamers with high-end and sophisticated configurations in PC, this will not be a problem; On the other hand, gamers using computers with lower specifications will experience problems with reduced frame rates and lag. And it should be mentioned that Optifine must be used when using this package. Without Optifine, the game will not run properly and will most likely crash every time you play.

How to install OmniJar's Realistic Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download OmniJar's Realistic texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Packs…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
