Despite the fact that Minecraft was released 10 years ago, it is still one of the most popular games today. One of the reasons is the constant updates and sometimes resource packs that give the game a different feel visually. A change of scenery can make the game feel new again and make you want to play Minecraft even more. Vis Mundus Resource Pack came out six years ago. This can cause problems in today's Minecraft because there have been so many updates over the past six years. Fortunately, it received another update and was updated to 1.16 as of February 28, 2021. The package creator listed it as 100% complete, so if you haven't tried it, now is the time to do so. Overall it looks nice. This makes the game look smoother, which is most noticeable on the terrain, especially on grass.

This in my opinion makes the game easier on the eyes and allows the player to have a much better experience. You will also notice that the plants are much brighter. This makes them “bounce” in a sense and can make it easier to spot plants from a distance. If you're a gamer who likes mods, then you're in luck because Vis Mundus supports six mods. These mods are Buildcraft, Backpack, HungerOverhaul, Hats, Baubles and EnchantingPlus. It's one of the best packs to download if you're a new player, simply because it's compatible with other mods, has a simple but cool look, and still feels like you're playing Minecraft. A lot of resource packs change the look of the game so much that it doesn't look like Minecraft anymore. That's not necessarily a bad thing. However, sometimes you want to change the look of Minecraft while still feeling like you're playing Minecraft, and the Vis Mundus pack does just that.

How to install Vis Mundus Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download the Vis Mundus texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Packs…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
