Candylicious 2 Resource Pack 1.14.4 / 1.13.2

One of the first things I noticed after switching to the Candylicious 2 Resource Pack was just how colorful Minecraft suddenly feels. This pack follows the idea of the original Candylicious but takes the theme further, replacing many of the familiar textures with candy-inspired designs. Milkshakes, mints, sweets, and other playful elements are worked into the visuals, giving blocks and objects a completely different personality. The colors are bright and energetic, so the world feels much more cheerful than vanilla Minecraft. It is definitely the kind of pack that stands out immediately rather than making small, barely noticeable changes.

The candy theme is used across a large portion of the game, and I think that consistency is what makes Candylicious 2 enjoyable. Instead of changing just a few blocks, the pack tries to carry its sweet aesthetic throughout the world. At the same time, some textures still have a little visual noise, which is one of the weaker points I noticed while using it. The designs can occasionally feel busy, especially when several customized blocks are placed together. However, if you enjoy colorful and unusual resource packs, that extra visual activity may actually be part of the fun rather than a deal-breaker.

From a performance perspective, Candylicious 2 uses a 16×16 resolution, so it remains very lightweight compared with high-resolution resource packs. Players with older or lower-end PCs should be able to run it without significant FPS problems as long as their system already handles vanilla Minecraft properly. I wouldn’t recommend this pack if you’re looking for realism or subtle visual improvements, but if you want something playful, bright, and completely different from the usual Minecraft aesthetic, Candylicious 2 offers a fun change of pace.

Candylicious 2 is compatible with all of the following Minecraft versions: 1.14.4 – 1.14.3 – 1.14.2 – 1.14 – 1.13.2 – 1.13.1 – 1.13 – 1.12.2 – 1.12

How to install Candylicious 2 Resource Pack:

  1. Download Optifine: Most of the texture packs and shaders need Optifine. That’s why, first download and install Optifine for the version of Minecraft you want to play.
  2. Download the Texture Pack: Get the texture pack you want from the download section. Choose the version that works with your Minecraft and your PC’s performance.
  3. Open Minecraft Launcher: 🚀 Start Minecraft using the official game launcher — or even TLauncher, if you use that.
  4. Go to Options: From the main menu, click on the “Options” button.
  5. Open Resource Packs: Inside Options, click on “Resource Packs…”.
  6. Open the Resource Pack Folder: Click on “Open Resource Pack Folder”— this will open a folder named “resourcepacks.”
  7. Move the Pack File: Copy or move the .zip file you downloaded into that “resourcepacks” folder. (Don’t unzip the file—Minecraft uses it as-is!)
  8. Go Back and Refresh: Close the folder and click “Done”, then go back into “Resource Packs…” again.
  9. Activate the Pack: You’ll see the pack on the left side. Hover over it and click the arrow to move it to the right (active side).
