Resource packs that have a fantasy theme make playing Minecraft more interesting. One such texture pack is the newly released Vonafarth. It has a medieval theme and is undeniably one of the coolest packs available for Minecraft. Vonafarth Resource Pack draws inspiration from the John Smith Resource Pack. The John Smith Resource Pack is one of the most popular fantasy themed resource packs available for Minecraft. While Vonafarth has many similarities to the pack that inspired him, this will change in the future. The pack's creator has assured users that many of its textures will be completely replaced, making it completely different from its inspiration. Despite its similarity to John Smith's source deck, the Vonafarth deck has some unique features that ensure it is decidedly unique and interesting.

The theme of the deck is medieval art fantasy and the theme was executed perfectly. In the original version, some textures were blurry, but these problems were fixed in the updates that came later. Right now there are no texture issues and the textures themselves look sharp and well defined. Since the theme of the deck is fantasy and medieval art, the color palette chosen by the deck is dark. The dark colors of the packaging reinforce its medieval theme. The textures in the pack have amazing detail. However, it should be noted that some of the textures in the pack have some noise. Noise is present in very few textures and is therefore not a major problem. The resolution of the Vonafarth package is x32. If your PC or laptop can run vanilla Minecraft smoothly, you won't face any problems with this pack either.

How to install Vonafarth Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Vonafarth texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
