Since the release of the Christmas version, the Just Upgrade It source pack has been in rotation again. The 2019 Christmas season has seen the release of so much Minecraft content that is based on the season. Since the beginning of December, we have seen the release of many different packs. Minecraft users have been amazed by the number of options they have been given this season. One of the most popular of all these versions is recently released Just upgrade the Christmas Edition Resource Pack made by xalixilax. Highly recommended if you want to enhance your visual experience with a bit of holiday spirit while creating an immersive and colorful experience. It is important to note that the Christmas Edition is only an add-on and we recommend using it with any winter-themed resource pack for a better experience.

The Christmas themed version is similar to the original pack as it uses different techniques that are unique and creative, the authors have introduced more high-end visuals that are based on the use of more creative textures. It is very fun to explore your world with this pack as it provides amazing textures that represent a beautiful Christmas theme. Top off your already amazing creations with a layer of snow to enhance those holiday feelings. Boasting a default texture resolution of 16 x 16 Just Upgrade This pushed the limits for their Christmas themed pack. The textures are designed to run comfortably on most systems that can already run vanilla Minecraft with little to no frame rate issues. For best results, you should run Optifine together with a set of resources. This will allow the source package to run at full optimization, helping all of its best features deliver exactly what they want to their customers.

How to install Just Upgrade It: Christmas Edition Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Just Upgrade It: Christmas Edition texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
