The Stay True Resource Pack is a terrific option for you if you play Minecraft and wish your game to look more attractive but yet feel like the original. Without drastically altering the original design, this texture pack enhances the appearance of the game. Though everything still seems like actual Minecraft, trees, grass, flowers, and bricks seem more detailed and smooth.

The fact that this pack presents a new perspective on the game’s surroundings is one of its better features. Leaves have nicer forms; grass flows with the breeze; flowers seem more realistic. Better textures improve even little objects like doors, torches, and signs. These little adjustments help the game to become more entertaining and soothing.

Using Stay True requires not a very strong computer. It fits most players since it performs effectively even on basic hardware. The performance remains good despite high quality of the textures. Many people so enjoy utilizing it.

Note: Stay True is a 16× resource pack, so the Recommended Resolution column is set to 16×.

How to install Stay True Resource Pack:

1. Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
2. Download the Stay True texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
3. Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
4. Click “Options” in the main menu.
5. Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
6. Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
7. Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
8. Click “Done”.
9. Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
10. Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.

    QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn’t affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.

11. Click “Done” again.
12. The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
