Overgrown Flowery’s GUI isn’t typically associated with resource packs. We’re used to regular packs changing most of the game’s textures, including blocks, tools, mobs, and anything else you can see and play with. Many of these situations disregard the user interface, a crucial aspect. Minecraft’s GUI is full of intricacies. The GUI includes all specific windows that occur while dealing with blocks such the crafting table, furnace, anvil, etc. They add details and recap the game. Other UI elements include health and hunger indicators, leap bars, buttons, effects, and more. You can probably guess what the resource pack is from its name and GUI. The overgrown floral GUI resource bundle will modify and improve. The original Minecraft GUI is mostly gray. The game can get monotonous after a while due of its gloominess. Over 12 years have gone since the alpha versions, but this crucial piece has not changed. The buttons have been softened, but that’s not enough to cover the dull UI. Overgrown Flowery GUI announces news as you load the game. All menu buttons and logos are purple. Adding a frame with gorgeous violas in the corners makes it brighter. Also modified are buttons on other items like the pause menu. This set is all about flowers, which is refreshing. The rest of the texture modifications appear after joining the world. The bottom elements stand out.
Water droplets replace chopsticks as hunger indications. Health is shown by green blooms. Adjustments for all effects exist. Golden apples render flowers golden, wilt turns them brown, poison turns them dark yellow, and dusty snow turns them baby blue. Armor looks like flower pots. The hotbar and experience bar are surrounded by grass and flowers, creating an overgrown impression. All inventory were reworked. Grass and flowers decorate fireplaces, tables, and chests. The furnace melting animation and progress arrow have also altered. Your inventory timers will match the overgrowth motif when your character is affected. Though minor, these changes are pleasant compared to the old, dull look. You probably won’t notice performance changes. The resolution is 16×16 as the vanilla game. Experience orbs now seem like flowers blooming from the ground, but shouldn’t effect gameplay. Optifine may not be necessary, however installing it will boost FPS. You can use Overgrown Flowery’s GUI with other “traditional” resource packs to entirely change the game because it keeps blocks, monsters, and items’ textures. Many have the same topic, so you can combine them. Kchem, the developer, upgrades the package to handle new updates and makes further changes. If Minecraft has lost your interest, Overgrown Flowery’s GUI is a good place to start.

How to install Overgrown Flowery GUI Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Overgrown Flowery GUI texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn’t affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
