Now if you’re interested in bringing a Star Wars feel to your Minecraft game, then here’s an excellent one Mine Wars Resource Pack to try it out! To give you a quick introduction, Mine Wars is a unique texture pack that is inspired by Star Wars. This resource pack contains so many excellent game items straight from the Star Wars movies. The best part is that these items are very low resolution i.e. 16x. On that note, keep in mind that Minecraft defaults to 16x resolution as well. This is why the Mine Wars resource pack is perfectly compatible with Minecraft for players with low-end hardware. Wondering what changes you should expect if you install this resource pack? Well, the list is actually pretty big! Among them, the most conspicuous is none other than the moon.
Usually in default minecraft the moon looks so ugly and boring. However, when you install this particular pack, it replaces the default moon display with a stunning Death Star. Since the Mine Wars source pack is designed for a smaller 16x resolution, many textures look bland and samey. For example, trees, dirt, giant mushrooms, and various other game blocks will look very similar to their standard/regular appearance. Likewise, several other Minecraft items such as workbenches, windows, and chests look quite similar compared to the default Minecraft view. The overall note about this resource pack is that — Mine Wars is not for those looking for shiny, bright and vividly colored textures. Instead, this resource pack will be suitable for those who prefer rough and realistic textures. Note that no music or sound effects are added in this resource pack. However, you should be able to easily add them if you want.

How to install Mine Wars Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Mine Wars texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn’t affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
