If you start searching for Pokemon Resource Packs, you'll find that there are many available. And everyone you come across will claim that their resource pack is the best. However, when it comes to who actually tops the list of the best Pokemon Resource Packs, Diglett's Mine Resource Pack is number one, especially when it comes to its digital appeal. This texture pack changes every aspect of the Minecraft experience from the vanilla Minecraft we're all used to. Some of the changes you'll notice include grass that looks like it does in the Pokemon games, with color and texture changes. In addition, the UI on the inventory and storage screens has changed, with item icons made to look like Pokémon Heads instead of helmets or icons from the DS games. With all the changes this deck has made, there's no denying that it was very thoroughly planned and executed.

Unlike many resource packs that eventually get forgotten and stop receiving updates, the author of the Diglett Mine resource pack keeps adding and updating this resource pack. These updates have been consistent since the original release. Some of the crowd textures that have been changed include some animals that look like Pokemon, such as pigs that look like Piloswine. Other animals to watch out for include bats with Zubat looks and rabbits with Buneary skin. Unlike many other Pokémon themed packs that are great additions to mods, we do not recommend using the Diglett's Mine resource pack with mods. Using this pack with Pokemon mods will lead to confusion as so many mobs in the Diglett's Mine resource pack have already been replaced. Once you've used Diglett's Mine, you'll understand why it's so disappointing not to use this resource pack with other Pokemon mods. It's just that good.

How to install Diglett's Mine Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Diglett's Mine texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
