One of the latest resource packs created for minecraft is Clafault. It was designed and built to enhance the game's visuals without straying too far from the art style that makes the game what it is. Unfortunately, most of the resource packs that come out for minecraft improve the overall look, but tend to stray away from the overall feel and look that makes this game so unique and popular. This is something the player base is not comfortable with and feels passionately that the overall “feel” of the game should remain the same. Clafault resource pack is one of the few that manages to retain the overall gameplay that makes minecraft what it is, while still managing to improve the overall visual style to make the experience that much more memorable and immersive. Perhaps the biggest change you'll see in the Clafault pack is how clean all the textures look.

Although vanilla minecraft textures have their moments to shine, there is no doubt that the visuals can look blurry and a bit noisy. Clafault maintains the overall tone of the game, but turns the volume down with the visuals, creating a smoother and cleaner experience than many resource packs available. With a resolution of 32×32, which is a slight jump from the main standard of 16×16, it's easy to see why the Clafault pack's textures look much more detailed than any other. If you have a system that supports vanilla minecraft, your system should be able to support and run the Clafault pack to provide a smoother overall experience without destroying the atmosphere that minecraft brings to the table. The Clafault texture pack is definitely worth installing and should make your gaming experience better and infinitely smoother.

How to install Clafault Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Clafault texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
