About a year ago Bright Shadows Resource Pack was released, so today we will talk about a not new addition to the world of minecraft. As we know, most realistically tuned packs try to create the most realistic environment possible, but at the same time they try to keep the default minecraft play style. Also, we all know that not every deck in the realistic category has made it. Bright Shadows does the same thing – creating a realistic atmosphere, but at the same time making the game a spectacular work of art. The resource pack does not change the vanilla sounds, effects or animations of the game, it just contains certain block textures that change the environment of minecraft, make it more realistic and enjoyable.

Bright Shadows textures have a resolution of 128×128, so you need to use them on a computer with decent hardware. It is very important to note that the textures in the Bright Shadows resource pack are clean and sharp enough. Also, even though this deck is very old, it's still only about 40% complete. Don't worry, it's slow but updates from time to time. The incredible amount of detail makes the packaging really fun to use. Sure, the pack isn't feature-rich, but it really makes the minecraft environment more realistic. Talking about the color palette, it deviates slightly from the vanilla palette of Minecraft. The color palette is much darker to realistically express the art style.
Bright Shadows should be compatible with all of these Minecraft versions: 1.11.2 – 1.11 – 1.10.2 – 1.10

How to install Bright Shadows Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Bright Shadows texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
