While many Minecraft resource packs find inspiration in movies, games or animated shows, there are a few that try something different. Zedercraft Autumn HD Resource Pack is one such exception that takes a different approach to creating new visuals in Minecraft. The resource pack tried and succeeded in changing the world of Minecraft to more closely resemble the fall season. It was done in a very discreet and pleasant way. What the Zedercraft Autumn HD resource pack does is change multiple textures and play with colors. There are more color tones that are specific to the seasons. This means we get yellow, orange and red leaves, orange and yellow plants, yellow trees and many more. Some terrain blocks have also been retextured to reflect the autumn season. Now you can create beautiful lawns with green grass that are also full of leaves.

There are also new animations for falling leaves, just like you would see on a windy autumn day. This was achieved by replacing the snow with leaves. Looking beyond the beautiful autumn colors of the textures, Zedercraft Autumn HD also increases the resolution of the textures. The resource pack is available in 128x or 256x texture resolution. This means that each individual sheet is more detailed, with pixels being difficult to distinguish even when looking at objects from a close distance. This increase in texture resolution is done not only for the leaves, but for many textures in the game. This makes everything look more detailed and less blocky. Other changes introduced by the resource pack include new particle effects, new mobs, and new armor and weapons. There are also some new fonts, an improved GUI and a new main menu. Zendercraft Autumn HD cannot be installed manually and requires either Optifine HD or MCPatched as it uses the “Custom Colors” feature.

How to install Zedercraft Autumn HD Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download the Zedercraft Autumn HD texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Packs…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
