Brixel Resource Pack 1.20 / 1.19

There are thousands of resource packs to try. Though most are free, the best are behind a barrier. Developers who work on Minecraft material packs should be compensated. A resource pack like Brixel was created to change the theme of vanilla Minecraft and make it appear beautiful. Brixel’s no-paywall policy makes it unique. Everyone can use it for free. Late 2021 saw the Brixel resource pack wabbabrick. Since then, the resource pack has received upgrades with additional features, graphic improvements, and bug fixes. Game-loving developer built resource pack. Players at 64x resolution can get the resource pack for free. The 128x, 256x, and 512x versions are resource-intensive and not for everyone. Nearly all of the game’s textures have been replaced or upgraded in the Brixel texture pack. It has a new UI and other visual enhancements. Buxel resource pack’s graphic update may seem recognizable. LEGO inspired the developer, despite its uniqueness. Many images are designed to imitate LEGO bricks. This appears on grass, soil, sand, animals, mobs, and player models. Some game aspects couldn’t be LEGO-ized. Leaves, flowers, and trees are examples. The source of inspiration is obvious. The Brixel pack changes more than just the surfaces to look like LEGO bricks. It has other visual enhancements. The texture colors show some of these changes.

More brilliant and happy colors have been added to the texture palette. New blocks include the grindstone, lectern, stonemason, lighthouse, fletching table, and blacksmith table. Improved sky and water textures. New Sun and Moon are LEGO blocks, but clouds are less angular. No longer circular. With the Brixel source pack, circular shapes are scarce. Developers recommend using the BSL shader pack to see these new sky and water textures. Finally, the Brixel resource pack addresses interface. It replaces the vanilla Minecraft game interface with resource pack-style graphics. The developer added widgets, bars, checkboxes, backgrounds, a world selection GUI, and many game player interface icons. The Brixel resource pack has 64x, 128x, 256x, and 512x resolutions. Contributors can get higher-resolution versions on the Patreon developer page. However, the 64x version looks better than vanilla. The vanilla Minecraft texture resolution is 16x. A quadruple texture resource pack may also slow down your computer, depending on its power. Without a recent processor and graphics card, the 512x version can cripple your PC. Brixel suggests BSL Shaders with the resource bundle to enhance game graphics. The resource pack may conflict with other shader packs or cause game issues. The Brixel resource pack developer includes a video guide for installation. Wizard installs it with Optifine resource pack. Installation is like any other Minecraft resource pack for Optifine users. BSL Shaders must be installed. The developer included a BSL shader installation tutorial with the Brixel resource set.

Brixel should be compatible with all of these Minecraft versions: 1.20.6 – 1.20.5 – 1.20.4 – 1.20.3 – 1.20.2 – 1.20.1 – 1.20 – 1.19.4 – 1.19.3 – 1.19.2 – 1.19.1 – 1.19 – 1.18.2 – 1.18.1 – 1.18 – 1.17.1 – 1.17 – Bedrock edition – PE
