The Wayukian resource pack was released many years ago and is one of the few source packs that has received constant updates. The updates come from a user other than the creator who took over the project and continues to work on it under the name New Wayukian. It's what some would call a modest resource pack with no aspiration to introduce photorealistic textures. The resource pack is a visual upgrade with a medieval and rustic feel. It touches on textures, items, mobs, particle effects, terrain, weapons, armor and GUI to make Minecraft a much more enjoyable RPG experience. Many of the elements he adds or changes to Minecraft are meant to enhance the RPG aspects of the game. Texture resolution has been kept at 16x to keep the spirit of Minecraft and to avoid frame rate drops. As a lightweight resource pack that doesn't require a powerful PC to achieve decent framerates, it's also PvP friendly. PvP players will appreciate that the New Wayukian texture pack offers high framerates and plenty of new item textures to play with.

The textures do not change significantly. There are a few tweaks here and there when it comes to textures and colors. Some terrain textures have been darkened while others have been completely replaced. There are also a lot of new textures for various objects such as chests, crates, chains, bonfires, skulls, various decorative items, windows, lamps, practice targets on the shooting range and many more. There are also new door textures and a few new paintings. A lot of effort has been invested in mobs and player textures. There are new scary mobs like skeletons, giant spiders, zombies, dragons, bats, robots and many more. There are also new textures for NPCs. You will be able to find NPCs in knight armor, dressed as a priest, a dark knight, dressed as a king, a wizard, a butcher, a butler and many more. All these visual enhancements allow you to create amazing castles, dungeons, scary forests that allow you to play Minecraft as an RPG game. Like New Wayukian Resource Pack touches the textures of the sky, clouds and celestial bodies such as the sun and the moon, installation must be done with Optifine. Optifine enables the use of these special features that require a resource pack.

How to install Wayukian (New Wayukian) Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download the Wayukian (New Wayukian) texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
