As a source pack, Steamed Up was developed almost 4 years ago. When it was first launched, it was probably one of the best and most impressively crafted and high-end resource packs out there. This is because it has an excellent set of textures coupled with a glossy design. However, after some time, the developer stopped updating the textures and from time to time it became incompatible with the latest versions of Minecraft. But recently a developer Steamed Up Resource Pack decided to rejuvenate it by updating it to be compatible with most versions of minecraft clients. Due to this significant improvement, we strongly recommend you to try it out as its previous compatibility issues are no more. Steamed Up textures boast innovative realism and an appealing art design that is quite amazing to explore.

The textures in this resource pack are done with great detail and don't create any extra noise, and maybe that's why they seem extremely shiny, clean and smooth. It must be noted that the color palette this particular deck is designed with is one of the darkest available. The dark colors blend seamlessly with the attractive and realistic texture design. What is even more unique and surprising about this package is perhaps its hexadecimal resolution. However, even at this resolution, the textures have incredible detail. Its a set of low-res textures that allow you to enjoy the pack without frame rate issues, even on low-end PCs. Most importantly, it's important to note that the Steamed Up resource pack was only recently updated after being dormant for quite some time. That said, several of his textures are still a work in progress and will change as the process continues.
Steamed Up should be compatible with all of these versions of Minecraft: 1.12.2 – 1.12 – 1.11.2 – 1.11 – 1.10.2 – 1.10

How to Install Steamed Up Resource Pack:
- Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Steamed Up texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
