As much as they loved using the Soartex resource pack, fans will be just as happy with the new Soartex Fanver. Fanver has more modern textures next to those found in Soartex. This is what fans do. There is no single brain behind this great idea. It is a product of group work. While Soar49 can be credited for the original version (Soartex), it is very different from the Soartex Fanver in many ways. You may be right when you say they are different. Fanver's new textures come from the forum system and are implemented later. Soartex doesn't go through many updates these days. However, the Fanver resource pack is compatible with Minecraft up to the latest version of the game. The new Fanver textures look very detailed, although not photo-realistic. The textures are also colorful, but only to a reasonable extent so that the graphics don't look like a cartoon.

One notable new thing is transparent water, which players can see if there's enough light around. Thus, players can always see the bottom of rivers, lakes, shallow parts of the ocean and other bodies of water for forts. Soartex Fanver Resource Pack it also has a 64× resolution. This resolution is at a level that is loved by almost all, if not all, gamers. It's neither deeply dull nor overly detailed ~ just somewhere in between, providing a premium look. Textures are also tailored to make players look more familiar. Some of the features that are custom made include but are not limited to enemy appearance, tools, user interface and much more. With all this, Soartex Fanver makes the game as interesting as it should be. Last but not least, this resource pack still gets updates despite its “old” age (3+ years). They rarely get resource packs with this update age. This is the foundation of trust for the pack.

How to install Soartex Fanver Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download the Soartex Fanver texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Packs…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
