The Persistence resource pack is a combination of two aspects: medieval and rustic. It tries to bring more details while keeping the standard Minecraft atmosphere. Although this resource pack tries to aim for the vanilla look of classic textures with its color and overall design, it is a bit more vibrant. In general, rustic resource packs are quite trendy in the Minecraft game world. Such resource packs make sense because they depict that you are living in some sterile environment, such as a dense forest. They try to show your house in a worn and shabby condition due to the surrounding conditions. This resource pack is quite rustic, but also offers a nice medieval touch by introducing several elements such as metal gates and stonework, along with mixing in many other medieval small parts. Apart from adding a rustic and medieval feel, you can safely call this resource pack authentic as the developer has done their best to preserve the vanilla look of Minecraft. At this point, you should know an important thing about this resource pack.
The developer has not finished it yet and is still working on it. For example, if you look at the normal part of the mob, the texture of the rabbit is still intact and doesn't seem to be different. Additionally, the developer has not modified any bosses, including ender dragon and wither. Although the developer has redrawn almost all of the artwork, a few images still look the way they always did in the original game. So keep in mind that if you're looking for resource packs close to completion, you may feel disappointed with the Persistence resource pack as it's nowhere near completion. However, if you are not too picky about the finishing aspects, this will not be a problem. This resource pack is available in 128 x 128 resolution. This means that several players cannot use it without facing frame rate issues, which means that the game will play slowly on several low-end computer systems. So keep this aspect in mind for playing this game if you have a lower configuration computer. However, most people can still use this resource pack without any problems.
