- Download the original resource pack (customization version) from the links below.
- Download the fan patch by GerbilCrab475 from the links below.
- Start Minecraft.
- Click “Options” in the main menu.
- Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
- Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
- Move the .zip files you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
- Click “Done”.
- Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
- Your package and patch should appear in the left window.
- Hover over the original package and click the right arrow.
- Hover over GerbilCrab475's patch and click the right arrow. – make sure the patch is at the top of the list to overwrite any incompatible textures your current Painterly Pack may have
- Click “Done” again.
- The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
