Nightly Resource Pack 1.16 / 1.15

Most texture packs focus on appearance, while Night resource pack prioritizes utility. Instead of changing gameplay, graphics, blocks, or items, the resource pack adds nighttime illumination. It was intended for clarity and to improve gameplay when the game purposefully obscures items, blocks, mobs, and players. People who want a vanilla Minecraft experience but don’t like playing at night should use this resource pack. The developer says the Nightly texture pack is like night vision or unlimited night vision potions. It does this by modifying the world’s color and light maps. These two options affect the game’s daily cycle. According to the developer, the source pack modifies the color filter that controls nighttime light and shadow darkness. The game is brighter and has reduced shadows for better night vision. Although some gamers call this source pack a brightness and gamma mod, it does much more and isn’t banned.

Why use this resource pack? The answer is easy. You gain PVP advantage. More quickly identify opponent players. It helps you combat nighttime mobs and explore the land. The Night Resource Pack enhances building and cave visibility. Bad monitors warrant the Nightly resource pack. Low-luminance monitors may show darker colors. Nighttime Minecraft should be more fun with the resource pack. Due to its minor texture changes, the resource pack does not effect game performance. Even with the source pack, Minecraft uses 16x textures. Any computer that can run vanilla Minecraft can run it with a night source. Resource packs require Optifine. The source pack works on all Minecraft and Optifine versions. Only Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition is exempt. Resource pack only supports Java Edition and Optifine. Finally, the developer notes that the Nightly resource pack handles lighting and does not work with shaders.

Nightly should work with these Minecraft versions: 1.16.5 – 1.16.4 – 1.16.3 – 1.16.2 – 1.16.1 – 1.16 – 1.15.2 – 1.15.1 – 1.15 – 1.14.4 – 1.14.3 – 1.14.2 – 1.14 – 1.13.2 – 1.13.1 – 1.13 – 1.12.2 – 1.12 – 1.11.2 – 1.11 – 1.10.2 – 1.10 – 1.9.4 – 1.9 – 1.8.9 – 1.8.8 – 1.8.1 – 1.8.6 – 1.8
