Current version Harkenburg City Resource Pack is actually the third variation of this texture pack. Before this current version, there were two of these that were previously released by Bluecolty, the person who created all three. Although the first two versions were “slightly disappointing”, it seems that the creator has found his magic on the third try and gave us the best one yet. This is because Bluecolty has really hit the nail on the head with this one, as this version offers everything a resource pack should really offer players. So if you're looking for something to turn your Minecraft into a modern masterpiece, make sure you give Harkenburg City a chance.

Taking a closer look at this resource pack, we can see that the city of Harkenburg not only has extremely impressive visuals that give us the aura of a modern city, but also some of the most exceptional road textures we've ever seen. game. Also, some of the other things worth noting are the awesome 2×3 over 2×3 window panes, window textures, and pretty much any other high quality visuals you could ask for in Minecraft. Currently, the city of Harkenburg is not completely finished. More specifically, there's about 10% of content left that hasn't been added yet, so it's safe to say that some of the major textures will be missing. The resolution required for this pack is 16×16, so even if your computer isn't really that high-end, don't worry, you'll still be able to use it in your game.

How to install Harkenburg City Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download the Harkenburg City texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Pack…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
