The most impressive part of the GrungeBDcraft texture pack is how it retains the charm of vanilla Minecraft textures while also deviating from them. Even with all the improvements, it still looks and feels like you're playing Minecraft. Objects are still recognizable and you can tell what they are. Oak blocks look like oak, cobblestones are still cobblestones, and torches are still torches. Some texture packs are made to completely change the atmosphere and environment of Minecraft, but the GrungeBDcraft resource pack only manages to play with the atmosphere of your world. If you want things to look rougher, more realistic, or even dirty, then a texture pack is perfect for you. Your entire Minecraft world will be enhanced after installing the GrungeBDcraft pack. Light and shadows blend together to create realistic shading effects. Villagers now have distinct faces and more unique clothing, flowers have more petals and are easy to spot, individual blades of grass can be seen on blocks, and items are less chunky. While everything is still boxy, the textures are higher quality than the typical vanilla Minecraft visuals. Imagine swimming deep into the ocean in search of clay blocks. Retextured fish swim around you. Their coloring is immaculate and they are shaped more realistically. An octopus walks by. His body is detailed enough that you can imagine how his skin would feel under your fingers, you can see the suction cups on his tentacles, and his giant round eyes stare back at you. Imagine how beautiful the enhanced ocean life would look in the aquarium you built. If you like a simpler game style, we recommend collecting some animals and starting a farm. When you see the animals, you will easily feel immersed in your small homestead.
