At the time of publication three years ago, FNI Realistic RPG Resource Pack he was way ahead of his time. The complete visual overhaul it offered was not a common occurrence, which resulted in a lot of positive reviews. Due to infrequent updates, the pack was under the supervision of its creator, FireandIce, until recently, who released an update that makes it compatible with the latest versions of Minecraft. This event received a lot of praise from old-school players who remembered the innovative nature of this resource pack, which shot it back into popularity. Don't let its age fool you – FNI Realistic has some of the most faithful RPG elements you'll find, even compared to some modern releases. The pack slightly dulls the usually bright environment that Minecraft takes place in, accurately representing the medieval look of most RPGs.

All the textures are surprisingly detailed enough while being grainy enough to completely change the atmosphere. The changes are especially noticeable in weapons, whose models accurately represent their levels, from wood to diamond. The new update brought more changes to blocks, more specifically stone bricks. This allows for some pretty breathtaking, archaic builds that look like they're from a completely different game. Probably the most surprising aspect of this deck is its only 16×16 resolution. While this may deter some people from downloading, the textures that FNI Realistic RPG brings are on a whole other level. Not only is this beneficial to the overall look of Minecraft, but your computer's resources won't be pushed to the edge when rendering these high-resolution resource packs. As if that wasn't enough, FNI Realistic is incredibly complete with shaders – once you've combined them and put some flashlights on your realistic build, you'll never want to go back to the original.

How to install FNI Realistic RPG Resource Pack:

Most source packages require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – a general recommended step for all packages, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
Download the FNI Realistic RPG texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of minecraft that you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
Launch the game client via the Minecraft launcher.
Click “Options” in the main menu.
Click on “Resource Packs…” from the options menu.
Click “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – a folder named “resourcepacks” will appear.
Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step into the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
Click “Done”.
Click on “Resource Packs…” again.
Your package should appear in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it doesn't affect your game in any way and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by just clicking “Yes” when prompted.
Click “Done” again.
The package has now been successfully loaded and is ready to use in your world!
