If you've been looking for a unique take on the cartoony feel of Minecraft, BLCK source package it might just be for you. Many similar attempts like Sphax go overboard with their redesigns, which can completely ruin the game for those who still enjoy the original Minecraft formula. The BLCK Resource Pack won't leave you wondering if you're playing a different game – it manages to deliver a new experience while staying true to the game's original, angular integrity. It is important to note that the resource pack is still under development and contains many more segments that have not yet been reworked. However, the developer's slow pace with the development of the package is due to the extreme attention to detail. From blocks and particles to items and mobs, every single texture will be redesigned.

However, the main goal of the BLCK resource pack is to remain fairly simplistic to suit all types of users, so you won't be overwhelmed by flashy textures and over-the-top animations after loading a new world. This does not mean that it lacks quality – quite the opposite. It emphasizes sharpness, smoothness and high details. Another thing you might notice is that the BLCK texture pack makes the Minecraft world a bit brighter. This is because the grass and most plants have their saturation increased to give the game a little more life. While this resource pack isn't even half done yet, there are several resolution options available, including: 32x, 64x, 128x, 256x, and 512x. The highest-quality version will surely blow your mind, but if you don't have a high-end computer, be prepared for a significant decrease in performance. Fortunately, the creator has thought of this as well, so you can try any of the other low-res variants until you find the perfect balance between performance and aesthetics.
(BLCK) should be compatible with all of these Minecraft versions: 1.11.2 – 1.11 – 1.10.2 – 1.10 – 1.9.4 – 1.9 – 1.8.9 – 1.8.8 – 1.8.1 – 1.8.6 – 1.8
