Hollywood Blocks Resource Pack 1.16 / 1.15

Hollywood Blocks Resource Pack, published almost seven years ago, did not operate with newer Minecraft versions until lately. The author abandoned the 128x endeavor in mid-2013 due to “personal issues” like lack of equipment and RAW file loss. Good news, though! Final update: This pack now supports Minecraft 1.15. Fernando MS, aka FiMiS, built the pack to improve Minecraft bricks without loosing their flavor. The pack replaces all block textures with crisper, more detailed ones and is simpler and default.

Replaces 16x textures with 256x ones. The pack also produces textures differently. In high definition, it maximizes the default design, showing only fine details. All of the approaches in this feature set are grayscale color overlays, modeled after basic texturing systems from Quake 1996. Texture alone creates shadows, reliefs, color tests, and artificial ambient occlusions. In summary, this kit works nicely in 3D without ray tracing or mapping. This is something new and original. If you want a better Minecraft world without modifying other game features, this package may be for you.

Hollywood Blocks should work with these Minecraft versions: 1.16.5 – 1.16.4 – 1.16.3 – 1.16.2 – 1.16.1 – 1.16 – 1.15.2 – 1.15.1 – 1.15 – 1.14.4 – 1.14.3 – 1.14.2 – 1.14 – 1.7.10 – 1.7.9 – 1.7.4 – 1.7 – 1.6.4 – 1.6.2
