Flows HD Resource Pack 1.19 / 1.18

Vivid and vibrant look is the hallmark of Flows HD texture pack. Its uniqueness comes from the developer's inspiration from numerous resource packs, which led him to combine their best elements to create this completely unique resource pack. The game-changing textures it offers are the result of years of work leading up to where it is today. The journey of the original Flows HD begins in 2012, around the time Minecraft version 1.2.5 was released. This was to be the basis for all future versions of the package. However, the oldest developer, ArtFlo91, has since handed over development efforts to others. Eisregen and Lukolaz provided some updates, and later Exevium polished the textures for quite some time, after which they also left the deck. It would take a while to list all the contributors, so we'll leave it at that. Don't worry though, Flows HD resource pack it is still regularly updated for the latest versions of Minecraft. When you first load the game with this pack installed, you will immediately notice the stunning visuals and high-quality textures that still manage to preserve the unique features of Minecraft. That was the main goal – to modernize the game while not changing its basic elements. Flows HD is quite popular with players who like to focus on building, mainly because the textures themselves are designed to make almost all buildings look great, regardless of whether they are medieval or modern, creepy or pleasant. Even if you are not a builder and just want to experience the game in a new, modern and elegant light, you should definitely give this pack a try. A significant change you'll probably notice without looking at the blocks is the sky. It got a complete redesign, got a new shade of blue, and was crystal clear at the same time. At night, the moon emits a gloomy glow that positively affects the atmosphere of the game. This fits perfectly with the changes regarding the vegetation of the game.

Their appearance is now much more natural and less pixelated, with spiked grass going in all directions. This treatment is also visible underwater, as the sea grass is also treated. If you're playing Minecraft on a platform that doesn't support Java, like Playstation, Xbox, Android, or iOS, don't worry. A developer named PLAYGAMEMPE has ported a complete resource pack to Minecraft's Bedrock edition. This means you can experience the transformation that Flows HD provides, as all textures are exactly the same in all versions. Although not 100% necessary, the developers recommend installing Optifine alongside this resource pack. Otherwise, some textures might not load as they should. It will help connect all the blocks properly and this is quite important as the pack relies on this feature to provide an optimal experience. If all the options are set correctly, it can also help you get a few extra FPS. Keep in mind that there is still no official version of Optifine for Minecraft Bedrock, so you can't rely on it to give you extra performance there. In terms of performance, Flows HD requires a lot more resources compared to the vanilla game. Versions for earlier versions of Minecraft had two possible resolutions to choose from, 64×64 and 128×128. However, as the development team has shrunk, they have shifted their focus entirely to a higher quality version. This means your computer has to render 8x more pixels, which can be problematic if you have weaker components. This is another reason to install Optifine if you are going to use the package. If that doesn't apply to you, you can also use shaders along with Flows HD to enhance the game's visuals even more. Although it can be quite challenging, the Flows HD texture pack really transforms the game into something new. The combination of different styles that make it ideal for building is something you can hardly find in any other resource pack. Its extensive history means it has had plenty of time to polish itself and be error-free. With updates still rolling in, there's no doubt that we still have a lot to see from the Flows HD resource pack.
